In 1967 a man named Carroll Shelby began taking stock Ford Mustangs and changing them into muscle car powerhouses. The stock Mustangs were given bigger motors, exterior add ons like side body air vents, and bigger tires.
These 1967 Ford Mustangs were specially modified by Carroll Shelby's company and sold under the name Shelby GT
